in my quest to keeping the polygoncount downlow, i'm trying my hand at box modeling..In this method you start with a cube and try to end up with somethin'else..so..here's my first attempt..my mentor at my internship liked it so much it's being used as a pitch to a pharmacy..since i've made a hellikopterobot, a submarine, a rocket, an airplane, and a satellite, it was time for the automobiles..it's all about the models here. Hope you enjoy 'em..

lookin' for a logo

so i'm looking for a logo to represent the evil forces that rule the world.. :)
it has to be based on the mason triangle..picture included..but i'd like it to be simpler..like a real life modern logo..so any information on the infamous triangle or the masons is welcome..these tryouts are just tryouts..to get started..so vectorized logo's will follow..if the future pleases it..

first videomap experiment

This is my first attempt at using my projector to videomap/mask..i used after effects to track the different shapes and allow or block light from them..this exercise consists of some basic principles used in videomapping..if you like it, browse the web..you'll find a lot of other interesting experiments with this technique..but we all have to start in the beginning right.. :)

let's talk business..

now about my master-project..

the work title is called be aware..it's supposed to be a campaign around some shocking events that shaped the world into what it is now..center is the fact that the world is now dominated by big corporations that act like, and have all the aspects of a sociopath..What do these corporations do for the world..why do they do it and how do they get away with it..

I start with the idea that human kind in general is shaped by a higher force..This used to be God..in any form..men worked the land in name of a higher force that they could not comprehend..we were submitted to these forces and could only adapt..then there were institutions that gave a face, an identity to these forces, not specifically for evil use, but after a while these institutions began to take advantage of their position. What we see now is that identity  and lifestyle are mostly dominated and given by big corporations..They tell us what to wear, what to eat and how to live our lives..for me personally that isn't the problem..i think the human kind needs direction..we are a big social phenomenon and we need guidance..but if we look at how it all worked out, we can conclude that somehow it all went wrong..even in the basics of our system are faults that predict failure..our learning system has a lot cracks and faults, the economic system is frankly spoken pure evil and quality of life is no longer one of the main goals of the human kind..but how we fill and shape it..which is dictated by the wrong kind of people and institutions..

the human kind in general is repressed by a small number of "leaders" or "forces" with their own agenda, and only seldom this is for "the greater good"..and we ourselves seem to small to be able to do anything about this..mostly because we are not given all the information, or any information, or not the right information about events that shape the world..
one shocking example of this is THE CHAKRABARTY case..wich resulted in the patenting of a living organism..now..big industries are in a race to patent as much dna and genomes as possible..so we live in a time where live does has a price..and this is essentially wrong..when this case took place, it was held quiet because of obvious reasons..well..the main goal of my master project is to get some of these events out in the open by a campaign consisting of animation, poster, flyer and interactive design..thus stimulating a change of thought..an evolution of the mind..

i can only do so much.. :)

start up for this idea was the documentary "the corporation" by Joel Bakan..whom also wrote a book with the same title..read this book or watch the film if you haven't allready..IT CHANGES EVERYTHING ;)

KKOPTER..animation experiments

Just some animation experiments..started out as a modeling exercise..now..it will probably become a series of seven KKOPTER recordings..

the idea is that this machine is put to the test in a lab..and we are looking at recordings..modeling and animation in Cinema4D..post in after effects..
